After numerous attempts to make the Psychic Museum work as I had always envisaged it, I have reluctantly reached the conclusion that it is never going to happen until or unless I can dedicate a lot more of my personal time and energy.
Though many people have kindly said that they have enjoyed their visits to the museum, it has failed to consistently match my idea of how it needs to be... and I would rather be offering no experience than one that I cannot be completely proud of.
This, I must stress, is by no means the fault of the many wonderful people who have put their time and effort into the Museum over the past few years. I am grateful to all of them and I sincerely hope that eventually, all our labours will bear fruit.
For the time being though, the Psychic Museum is closing its doors. During 2007 at least, it will no longer be a physical museum. It may yet though, gain a new lease of life as an internet resource and conversation centre. Watch this space for more details (or see what the Museum's Curator is up to).
with best regards
Jonathan Cainer
PS The building itself will re-open, for the 2007 season, under the auspices of an entirely different company who have kindly agreed to lease the premises and who will be using them to host their very own brand of Ghost Night Experience.
